More information: I originally read this book in 2024 and rated it five stars. As I've become a more voracious reader and my rating scale and tastes have changed with time, I have since changed my rating to four stars. I still enjoyed the book, but it no longer stands among some of the highest rated books I've read in the past year. I read this again in preparation of the second book in the series, "Ghost Business," which I will be reading and reviewing within the next week or two.

My first read of "Haunted Ever After" was my introduction to Jen DeLuca's work. I've since read her entire "Well Met" series (which I find absolutely darling!). I will read anything this woman puts in front of her readers. She is remarkably talented.

Also, if Jen ever sees this... Jen, I'm pretty sure you set Theo up as the hot book guy for a reason. You're totes planning to give him his own book, yeah? And if not... WHY THE HELL NOT? I'm salivating.
